Course Overview

This course will provide you with a range of opportunities to develop the attitudes, abilities and competencies needed to work in a health and social care environment, both home and abroad.

Entry Requirements

Entry Requirements (UK or abroad qualification):

  • Level 2 qualification (GCSE’s, Highschool, Senior school)
  • Level 3 qualification such as:
    • A Levels or senior school
    • BTEC Extended Diploma
    • Higher education Diploma

Work experience Route

Entry to level 3 for those who cannot meet the above entry criteria are able to apply through work experience (minimum 6-month experience in a good role and should be employed before you start your program). Required to provide a work reference letter with information containing the company name, address, email and referee details.

Employability

Graduates who can demonstrate an in-depth knowledge of relevant healthcare and business concepts and first-hand experience in the sector in the sector will be in great demand.

Standard delivery:
Studying on campus 2 days a week which is Monday – Friday (10:00-17:00)

Scholarships & Bursaries

British Council Scholarship for Women in STEM:

  • This scholarship is offered in partnership with the British Council.
  • It provides full tuition fees, airfare, a monthly living stipend, and a Career Development Bursary.
  • Eligible female students from Bangladesh, India, Nepal, Pakistan, and Sri Lanka can apply.

Merit Scholarship:

  • Open to undergraduate students from the UK (and eligible EU/EEA students).
  • The scholarship amount is £1,000

ARU Bursary:

  • Available for students with an annual household income of £42,875 or less.
  • Eligible for UK or eligible EU students studying full- or part-time undergraduate or integrated Masters degrees.
  • The bursary provides up to £300 per year

Alumni Scholarship:

  • For students who have completed an degree and want to pursue further study.
  • Available for UK or eligible EU students starting a postgraduate taught or postgraduate research degree.

Offers either a 20% discount on postgraduate taught courses or a £400 discount on postgraduate research programs

Duration : 3 Years or 4 Years with Foundation
Available Starts: September, January, May
